Business Plan Competition

Any great idea needs to be formulated into a viable business in order to be profitable and sustainable. The Business Plan Competition is the ideal practice ground for aspiring entrepreneurs to test and refine their business plans by getting feedback and possible interest from VC firms, Angel Investors and successful entrepreneurs. And the best of the lot will get some deserved and precious capital as well as a chance to participate in the European Business Plan of the Year Competition 2008

Prize

• Prize money of £10,000

• Entry into the European Business Plan of the year Competition (only current London Business School students)

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the competition, each team must have at least one University of London (London Business School, UCL etc.) or Imperial College student or alumni. For further details, please refer to the detailed document

First Round:

Requirements: Entry form and 5-page Executive Summary (size 10 font or higher, PDF or doc format) outlining at least the following:

Outcome: 8 Short-listed teams for Round 2 who will be contacted by email.

Second Round:

Requirements: Full Business Plan (PDF or doc format) including marketing, operations, financial, organizational plan.

Outcome: 4 finalists for presenting to a panel of judges

Registration:

Please register for the Business Plan competition through the entry form along with the executive summary by March 4th, 2008. Send your entries to bplan@londoneconference.com.

The finalists need not pay the entry fee for the Entrepreneurship Conference. However, all apart from the finalists, all those who intend to attend the conference need to register through the normal registration.
